XI/ON, PROFIBUS DP Gateway, 12 MBit/s A Gateway is a prerequisite to operate all digital/analog XI/ON-I/O modules as well as for all XI/ON relays, XI/ON technology and XI/ON power supply modules on PROFIBUS DP. A bus refreshing is necessary to operate a Gateway (XN-BR-24VDC-D, order no.: 225187). It can be combined with base elements of different connection technologies: tension clamp and screw-type connection technology. - base elements with tension clamp connection technology: 2-/3-wire base element; order no.:225190; 4-wire base element, order no.: 225192. - base elements with screw-type connection technology (available in October 2000): 2-/3-wire base element; order no.:225202; 4-wire base element, order no.: 225204. XI/ON modules are addressed exclusively via the Gateway Conditions for use according to § 4 of the EMC directive(EN 61131-2).
