Bus node UE 4150 is a decentralized input/output module to integrate safety components into the PROFIsafe system via IP 67 connection technology. It is certified according to IEC 61508 SIL3 and EN 954-1, category 4. The busnode appropriate 8 field signal connectors for connection of active and passive components, like E-stops, Interlocks, Lightcurtains, Laserscanners, pushbuttons with lamp, powersupply for active sensors, Muting lamps,... existing each of 2 safety inputs and 2 standard outputs. The field signal connectors are flexible parameterisable by Windows Software for different components and provides integrated cross circuit test for 2-channel sensors. The UE4150 bus node provides additionally two SDL connectors for active SICK safety sensors for read and write access from PLC to the sensor and detailed diagnostics of sensor. Advanced features of connected SICK safety sensors can be used, like switching of field sets of laserscanner, etc.. By Windows Software full configuration- and diagnostics- access to the bus node and active SICK sensors are available. Connectable SICK sensors are, Laserscanner S3000 and S300, Lightcurtain C4000 and Multiple lightbeam device M4000.
