With the SOFTNET for PROFIBUS software packages, PCs and SIMATIC programmers devices can be connected with automation systems, e.g. SIMATIC S7. SOFTNET is designed for simple PROFIBUS cards, e.g. CP 5512 (PC-Card), CP 5611 A2 (PCI), CP 5611 A2 MPI or CP 5621 (PCIe). The complete protocol stack is handled by the PC.
The software package SOFTNET-DP offers PG functions, DP protocol and S5-compatible communication (FDL-Protocol) to IEC 61158/EN 50170 for 32 Bit Windows XP Professional SP 2, 3; Windows 2003 Server R2, SP2; Windows Vista Business/Ultimate SP1; Windows 2008 Server.
This software package includes the DP OPC server, NCM PC and electronic manual on CD-ROM.
