PCD.Smart.M177 with FMS master/slave.
The PCD.Smart.M177 is a credit-card sized CPU and is S7-compatible with Simatic series S7-300
and S7-400.
Smart.M177 offers full PLC function on a small, credit-card sized module that fits into any controller application.
Smart.M177 is a CPU kernel, but without the hardware overheads of a power supply, display, controls, housing, etc. The module realizes CPU function, pure and simple. All interfaces lead out to two pin-and-socket connectors and can be wired according to any requirements. Smart.M177 has been reduced to the straight PLC function and optimized for integration within application-specific control electronics.

512 kByte integral user memory, 16,384 flags,
256 timers and 8 timing flags.
The integral MPI interface communicates at 187.5 kBit/s (TTL level).
The Smart.M177 supports up to 6 serial ports:
RS 232, RS 422, RS 485, TTY 20mA, PROFIBUS DP, FMS, LonWorks, Ethernet TCP/IP.
Possibility to connect two fieldbus cards on the Smart.M177 enabling separate communication with PROFIBUS DP, FMS, Ethernet TCP/IP or LonWorks from the same system.
Expansion modules from the PCD2 familys product range for field bus connection, serial communications and networking can be connected directly to the parallel bus, without additional interface wiring. These connections are fully supported by the operating system.
With the PCD7.F700 card the Smart.M177 gains a PROFIBUS FMS interface which
can be used as a master or slave. Services correspond to expanded controller 2.
Transmission speeds are up to 500 kBaud.
