In industrial PROFINET environments, only shielded cabling and connecting elements rated for industrial use are permissible. The PROFINET Cable Type C is a Cat 5 highly flexible cable engineered specifically for drag-chain and cable carrier applications where the cable undergoes continuous, high-cycle mechanical movement during normal machine operation. Where Type A solid cable is suited for fixed installation and Type B flexible cable handles occasional bending, the Type C construction is designed for the repetitive flexing, torsion, and lateral movement demands of energy chain systems on robots, linear axes, gantries, and other dynamic machine components. Sold per meter with a minimum order quantity of 50 meters.
 

Also available in Type A solid construction for fixed installation, and Type B flexible construction for installations requiring repeated bending without drag-chain requirements.
