The PROFINET Cable Type A is a Cat 5 solid copper cable designed for fixed installation in machine and plant networks, meeting the electrical and mechanical requirements of PROFINET infrastructure per IEC and EN standards. The solid AWG22 conductor construction and dual-layer shielding — tinned copper braid over aluminum foil — deliver stable signal transmission and effective EMC protection across the full operating temperature range. Sold per meter, with required length entered in the quantity field at checkout.
 

Also available in Type B flexible construction for installations requiring repeated bending, and Type C drag-chain capable construction for dynamic cable carrier applications.
