The SpliTConnect connection system allows the fast and easy installation of
PROFIBUS PA bus segments by means of the FastConnect stripping tool.
The SpliTConnect system consists of the following parts:
- SpliTConnect Tap for creating PROFIBUS PA
segments and for connecting PA field devices 6GK1 905-0AA00
- SpliTConnect M12 Outlet ; this is the
element for directly connecting PROFIBUS PA field devices to
the SpliTConnect Tap via M12 connection 6GK1 905-0AB00
- SpliTConnect Couple;
this is the coupling element for cascading SpliTConnect
Taps for creating star points 6GK1 905-0AC00
- SpliTConnect Terminator (Ex: flameproof); this is used
to connect PROFIBUS-PA segmets. It can be used in the
hazardous area 6GK1 905-0AD00
- SpliTConnect Terminator (non-flameproof);
This is used for connecting PROFIBUS-PA segments.
It cannot be used in the hazardous area 6GK1 905-0AE00
