The PROFIBUS FC Robust Cable is of radial-symmetrical design, allowing it to
be stripped with the "FastConnect stripping tool". This, in turn, makes it possible to prepare bus connectors quickly and easily.
This LAN cable is a two-core shielded twisted pair cable with circular cross-
section. It is easily installed, highly immune to interference due to double
shielding and covers distances up to 1200 m without the use of repeaters.
The use of PUR as sheath material makes this LAN cable suitable for
applications for chemical and mechanical environments. Thus, this cable is
conditionally resistant to mineral oils and greases as well as flame-retardant
and halogen-free (acc. to VDE 0472T804).
Its only difference from the standard LAN cable is the different material with its associated properties.
