Product description:

PROFIBUS is a manufacturer-independent, open fieldbus standard for a wide range of automation applications. Its operation is based on the Master-Slave principle; communication with active participants is performed via Token Passing method.

As a slave, the fieldbus coupler links the WAGO SPEEDWAY 767 System to PROFIBUS. When initializing, the buscoupler determines the station's module structure and creates a process image of all inputs and outputs. Device, module and channel diagnostics are supported according to the PROFIBUS standard.
