Product description:

Switchbox with PROFIBUS PA. This heavy duty switch box provides full actuator control and position indication by means of an integral fieldbus (PROFIBUS PA) connection.
The switch box contains a fieldbus card, micro switches for the actuator OPEN and CLOSED position indication and a terminal strip for the bus connections, analog input and the actuators solenoid valve.
The fieldbus card enables actuator control and position indication as input/output functions on the fieldbus network. The complete system is powered by the bus, no additional power supply is needed. The card is intrinsically safe to ATEX standard and is certified II 1 G EEx ia IIb T4 and suitable for zones 0, 1 and 2.
The switches are operated by two cams on an extension of the actuator drive shaft.
Both switches are independently adjustable throughout the operating stroke, these are factory set to indicate at about 5 degrees before each end position.
The weather proof housing (IP 67) contains all termination. The HD-Box has two
entries for all input and output signals. The switch box is mounted on top of the actuator with an accessory bracket which incorporates a visual position indicator.
