NETLink-PRO-USB offers a robust high-speed connection to the S7 PLC-family and to compatible products offered by other manufacturers (e.g. Pilz, etc). NETLink-PRO-USB is connected to the S7 controller's MPI interface and the seamless integration into the Siemens world makes this device act like a PG adapter, however with substantially higher flexibility.

As an attractively priced and flexible interface, NETLink-PRO-USB complements Softing's S7/S5 OPC Server.

NETLink-PRO-USB is powered by either the CPU in case it is directly connected to the CPU port or the USB port of your computer; however an external 24V supply can easily be provided for occasions when NetLink-PRO-USB is connected via the MPI/Profibus network and your USB port cannot power the NetLink-PRO-USB.
