Gateway Automation System JUMO mTRON to PROFIBUS DP

The mTRON to PROFIBUS DP Gateway is a complete system consisting of power supply, transceiver, controller (Neuron 3150) and one field bus controller, containend in a compact housing for mounting on rail.

The connection to the PROFIBUS DP is realized through the field bus controller (slave); with the help of the Gateway the mTRON network with any mTRON-modules as PROFIBUS DP slave can be connected to a PROFIBUS DP network.

The automatic baud rate recognition enables baud rates of 9, 6, 19.2, 93.75, 187.5,, 500 and 1500 kbps. The services of all PROFIBUS DP slaves are supported.

The software for the field bus controller is certified according durch PNO.

The focus of the JUMO mTRON-system is set in the field of automatic process control and control systems and in connection with the JUMO visualisation software SVS-2000 as well in the field of registration and visualisation of measured data.

JUMO mTRON modules are small and local intelligent units, which can be assembled to a modular system. This possibility offers a higher flexibility and saves time and costs. Modifications or amplifications of the automation system can be realized easily by adding the corresponding mTRON modules.

The software JUMO mTRON-iTOOL offers a comfortable parameterization of the modules; the connections between the modules with the network are defined; automatisation is put into operation and registered.
