The frequency converters of the 8600 series offer best solutions for all kinds of
drive tasks within the power range from 1.1-90 kW because of their high functio-
nality and good drive features. Starting torques of up to twice as high as the
usual torques and best stability features of the drives result from the patented
Io-magnetizing current control. The standard equipment comprises flying-restart
circuits, parameter changeovers, sequence control systems, DC braking, fixed
frequencies, etc. and ensure the universal industrial application. The speed
control can either be created by using the analog tachogenerator or the incre-
mental encoder.
The DP-Slave functions have been certified.
