Commuwin II is the universal, open operating program for the intelligent field and control room
instrumentation used in process automation. With the aid of a graphical user interface devices
with various communication protocols as HART or PROFIBUS-PA can be configured and
monitored. Commuwin II operates on all commercial personal computers in the environments
MS-Windows 3.1 and 3.11, Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.00.The connection of the fieldbus
can be done with an ISA-card or PCMCIA-card.
All intelligent field and control room instrumentation with the PROFIBUS-PA protocol, from
Endress+Hauser and other vendors, can be configured from Commuwin II.
