The DP/RS485 interface serves the interfacing of the 3WN6 (160 A to 3200 A)
to the PROFIBUS DP. Control commands as well as extensive data from and to
the 3WN6 circuit-breaker can thus be easily transferred (max. 12 Mbaud) to
superordinate automation systems without any of the usually necessary wirings.
The DP/RS485 interface is connected to the 3WN6 circuit-breaker via a
point-to-point connection. The particular ambient conditions (e.g. high
currents, sliding contacts in the draw-out model, etc.) have been taken
into consideration for this connection. For further circuit-breakers with PROFI-
