The MIO 167 is a 12MBd DP-Slave-Tool containing until 5 independent measuring modules. The modules are galvanically separated so that different measuring trans-ducers can be connected. The sampling rate and the averaging of measurement va-lues can be configurated freely by profibus. At the acquisition of dynamic signals, pairs of measured values can be generated between several modules at the same sampling intervals. Those pairs of measured values are processed by the superordi-nated control system.
