The FANUC PROFINET Safety Board can be used on FANUC CNC series 30i/31i/32i-MODEL B/, 30i/31i/32i-MODEL B Plus, 35i-MODEL B, Power Motion i-A as well as on 0i-F/F Plus.
With PROFINET IO Controller 2 function (R980) following features are available:
PROFINET IO Controller according Conformance Class CC-B. Up to 48 IO Devices.
Cyclic IO communication and acyclic communication functions are supported.
With PROFINET IO Controller Safety Function (R981) following features are
additionally supported: F-Host, safety communication with other FANUC CNC, FANUC
Robot and F-Devices from the market. The safety function is completely embedded in FANUC's Dual Check Safety integrated safety system.
The Engineering Tool "PROFINET Safety Configuration Tool" is included in FANUC
CNC Setting Tool (A08B-9510-J540).
It is used to setup standard PROFINET IO communication including acyclic
communication as well as to setup the safety communication.
For safety parameter assignment a Tool Calling Interface is provided.
The download of the project is done via the network.
Various diagnosis is available on CNC and on the PROFINET Safety Configuration
Tool.
