The Process Pressure Sensors are used for the following measuring tasks:
- absolute pressure and gauge pressure in gases, steams or liquids in all areas of process engineering and process measurement technology
- level, volume or mass measurements in liquids
The Process Pressure Sensors provide many remarkable benefits:
- very good reproducibility and long-term stability
- end-to-end modularity for differential pressure, hydrostatics, and pressure
- easy commissioning without the need for an operating tool
- easy and safe menu-guided operation
Process Pressure Sensors are selectable with:
- either a capacitive measuring cell and a ceramic process isolating diaphragm or a piezoresistive measuring cell and a metallic welded process isolating diaphragm
- high process temperature up to 130 °C (266 °F), for a maximum of 60 minutes 150 °C (302 °F)
- high pressure up to 400 bar (6000 psi)
- configuration by the use of keypad or PACTware
- high reference accuracy of up to ±0.15 %, optionally ±0.075 %
- maximum turn down of 100:1
- application for process pressure monitoring up to SIL2, certified to IEC 61508 Edition 2.0 and IEC 61511 by TÜV NORD
