Clever Multimach Profinet IO valves provide an interface between CM islands and Profinet IO network. They comply with the specifications, offer diagnostics functions and are available in the 64 output and 32 input versions. They support RT, Fast Start Up, Shared Device and Identification & Maintenance 1-4 communication.
Fieldbus connection
The bus connection is established via two M12 sockets, D-coded with degree of protection IP65
The power supply for the CM is supplied via an M8 female 4-pin connector.
Auxiliary power for the valves is separate from that for the field bus.
CM net Interface
The CM bus node supports the CM net interface for connecting CM slave modules. Using M8 cables 4 poles, the max number of output can be split into more slave units belonging to the same Profinet node.
Addressing single outputs are not required as the connection number of each solenoid pilot is assigned automatically based on the position occupied by the valve.
